Founded in 2016, Carbo Culture Oy has developed patented technology called Biochar Carbon Removal which stabilises carbon from waste biomass and stores it in biochar which can store nutrients and retain water in soils. The process responds to the carbon removal needed today and is also energy generating, helping electrical grids go green while the biochar is stored terrestrially to support soil health.
