Tickets are now on sale for Expo City Dubai’s Winter City – an enchanting family festival running from 6-31 December – and the popular Carols by Candlelight musical celebrations, with performances twice a day from 20-24 December.
This year, Expo City has teamed up with Toys “R” Us as Winter City’s Exclusive Toy Partner to transform Al Wasl Plaza into a larger-than-life Santa’s toy factory, promising to immerse kids and adults alike in a world of festive fun.

Tickets (excluding 20-24 December): AED 40 when booked here or AED 50 at the Expo City box office; free for 5 years and under and people of determination.
Tickets on Carols by Candlelight performance days (20-24 December): AED 80 per person (free for ages 5 and under) when purchased here or AED 90 per person at the Expo City box office. Family tickets are priced at AED 240 (AED 400 from 20-24 December) and include two adults and two children, one caregiver ticket, reserved parking and two children’s meals (suitable for ages 3-12).

Carols by Candlelight
20-24 December; 1830 and 2030 daily
Tickets: Tickets include entry to Winter City and are priced at AED 150 (free for 2 years and under). Available here on a first-come, first-served basis, they are expected to sell out fast. Children must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older.
The magical Carols by Candlelight returns with two heart-warming shows every night from 20-24 December. Surrounded by Christmas-themed projections, school choirs will perform beloved holiday classics accompanied by the all-female Firdaus Orchestra, with surprise appearances from Santa and Mrs Claus. Make a night of it and add a seasonal F&B hamper packed with delicious treats (AED 80 for adults, AED 49 for children aged 6-12.)

Expo City’s food truck park, in partnership with TGP International, will provide festive favourites including hot chocolate, spiced treats and artisanal desserts
Rove Expo City will serve Christmas menus and showcase a whimsical gingerbread house
The Winter City bar offers adults a cosy ambience and carefully curated selection of yuletide beverages
‘Xmas at Surreal’ which runs from 9-21 December is an upscale holiday banquet alongside the spellbinding water feature. Prices start at AED 340 per adult, AED 180 for ages 6-12 and free for 5 and under with tickets available by making a reservation on 050 875 2177.

Family Fun
6-31 December
Many activities for children aged 2-12 are free, with additional charges applicable for some activities:

Engaging workshops including gingerbread decorating, bath bomb making, winter-themed arts and crafts, loom weaving, bracelet designing, a slime station and a bear-making workshop
A VR and arcade zone
Huge outdoor inflatable play area by Splash N Party, with trampolines, ziplines, slides, ball pits and a bungee jump, as well as an inviting, supervised soft play area where parents can drop off their children
Roving entertainment, including dancing elves and surprise appearances by Opti the Elf and Geoffrey the Giraffe
Free meet-and-greets with Mr and Mrs Claus as well as a (paid) option to have family photos with Santa under Al Wasl dome
Snowfall and Christmas projections on Al Wasl dome
Daily lighting of the towering Christmas tree at Santa’s Grotto, with one lucky child chosen every day to switch on the lights
Children on the ‘nice’ list are encouraged to post their letters into Santa’s gigantic mailbox at Santa’s Grotto: a select few letters will be picked each day for a special discount with a minimum spend at Toys “R” Us, spreading extra holiday cheer
The North Pole market brimming with seasonal stands offers the perfect place to relax and enjoy the snowfall under Al Wasl dome
