Executive Director - Expo City Dubai Foundation
Yousuf Caires is Executive Director of Expo City Dubai Foundation, a non-profit organisation established by Expo City Dubai Authority that aims to bridge the gap between people, ideas and resources in pursuit of a sustainable and inspiring future.
The position builds on his previous role as Executive Director of the Expo Live Innovation Programme, with Yousuf responsible for ensuring the Foundation takes forward Expo Live’s legacy of innovation and partnerships through a range of programmes that support problem-solvers with funding, collaborations, investment and business opportunities.
Prior to joining the Expo 2020 Dubai team in 2016, Yousuf held leadership roles at Dubai Cares – a philanthropic organisation working to improve children’s access to quality primary education in developing countries – as well as Staples Inc and the Gillette Company.
Yousuf holds a master’s degree in International Trade and Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University.
