Located in Terra, Taqa Island offers Expo City Dubai’s youngest guests the best of science, technology, art, music and sculpture. ‘Taqa’ means ‘energy’ in Arabic, and kids will step into a vibrant and fun-filled island that reacts to their every move, invigorating young hearts and minds through problem-solving and collaboration to keep all the inhabitants of our shared planet healthy and happy.

  • All children at Taqa Island are required to be supervised by their parents

Height restrictions

  • 95 cm minimum
  • 145 cm maximum
  • Infants smaller than 95cm tall are permitted if their sibling meets the height restrictions, they will be allowed to play in the infants only play area but must be supervised by their parent/guardian at all times to ensure they do not get into the areas that are restricted by the height requirements
