Emirati Women’s Day 2024: Expo City Dubai celebrates contribution of Emirati women in the humanitarian field

To mark Emirati Women’s Day on 28 August, Expo City Dubai’s Women’s Pavilion will team up with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) to honour the influence and contributions of Emirati women in the humanitarian field.
This free, open-to-the-public event runs from 1000-1230 and celebrates the strength, resilience and impact of women in the global aid sector, with an impressive line-up of leading female humanitarians and the premiere of “Frontline Heroes” – a documentary highlighting the courage of humanitarian workers.
It follows on the heels of World Humanitarian Day, held annually on 19 August, and incorporates its #ActForHumanity theme.
