Chief Development and Delivery Officer
Ahmed Al Khatib is Chief Development and Delivery Officer at Expo City Dubai, responsible for its physical and commercial development.
The position builds on his previous role as Chief Development and Delivery Officer at Expo 2020 Dubai, where he oversaw the development, delivery and management of the Expo site Master Plan as well as supporting utilities, infrastructure services, roads, networks and transportation.
His role also involved managing the sustainability of the site to ensure processes and procedures were completed in an environmentally-friendly manner, and coordinating with key government entities and stakeholders.
Ahmed joined the Expo 2020 Dubai team in 2015, and has more than 20 years of experience in end-to-end project delivery and construction in the field of buildings, utilities and infrastructure with blue-chip companies such as Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Holding Group, Dubai Roads & Transport Authority and Dubai Municipality.
