Founded in 2014, The Waste Transformers turn food waste into a driver of positive change by placing on-site containerized biodigesters transforming food waste into renewable energy and natural fertilizer. Their biodigestor was launched in 2018 at the iconic Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, and over the years they have developed multiple international partnerships. Through an independent Life Cycle Analysis research they have demonstrated the levels of CO2 savings by their systems, and shown 323% better CO2-eq saving compared to landfilling.
