About the company

Kidogo launched in 2014 as a non-profit social enterprise to improve access to high-quality, affordable Early Childcare Care & Education in the Nairobi slums through an innovative social-franchising model. Since 2014, Kidogo has provided nearly 2 million hours of high-quality care & education to nearly 1000 children in Nairobi’s urban informal settlements. The growing network of Kidogo centres includes 3 model ‘hubs’ and ~30 social-franchised daycare ‘spokes’ owned & operated by ambitious women in their own local communities.
