The ECD BOPs are available for a duration of 1day up to 12 months.
No, the permit is only valid within ECD. To operate outside ECD, additional approvals or a mainland licence may be required.
Operating without a permit may result in fines, penalties, or the suspension of your business activities.
The processing time for the issuance of an ECD BOP is up to 5 working days, subject to third-party approvals, successful submission of all required documents, and completion of the BOP payment.
Yes, ECD requires written confirmation that the use of the location is approved by the location owner. Please note that a client holding an ECD BOP and wishing to hold any event (commercial or non-commercial) must follow the required process with the DET to obtain the relevant event permits. A copy of the permit must be shared with ECD once obtained.
