Individuals holding a Freelance Permit are entitled to one employment allocation, which is exclusively for themselves.

Yes, several professions may be subject to further approvals by relevant government authorities. Once you have chosen your ECD Freelance Permit profession, the ECDA team will guide you on the required relevant government authority approvals where applicable.

The name on the Freelance Permit must align with the individual's passport information and cannot be substituted with a company name.

You can include up to two professions on the permit, provided they are related or fall within a similar scope.

An ECD Freelance Permit holder may enter into an agreement with a third party to hold any events for the client at ECD. The third party appointed will have to adhere to ECD processes and requirements.
